Ben Brewster and his staff
First,
Ben Brewster will share with you his love of the game. His training
sessions are spirited, innovative, and challenging. He has the unique
ability to demonstrate all phases of the game.
Following his pro career, he spent 18 years as a college coach
bringing Boston College to the elite level in New England soccer
and a top twenty national ranking. Ben has traveled and studied
soccer on three continents while earning the highest coaching license
available from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
Focusing on the youth level, Ben has coached Olympic Development,
qualified teams from three different clubs for the regional and
inaugurated the soccer program at Souhegan High School, winning
the state championship in three years. Most recently he revitalized
the soccer program at New Hampton School, an exciting preparatory
school, which he took to the New England finals in two seasons and
Conval High School, which returned to the state playoffs this year.
All of his efforts in a twenty-year career in soccer culminate
in his ability to help you reach your maximum level of enjoyment
and performance. |

Bob Surette
One of the "original" coaches at the Wildcat Soccer School, Bob Surette is legendary at the school and in the sport of soccer.
His love and dedication to the improvement of his students, his unwavering concern to their growth as respectful, hard working human beings, and his demand for self-responsibility infuses his coaching relationships. Bob sees his soccer players in the larger context of life, and consciously trains them to improve both aspects of their lives.
As a coach Bob has excelled. Here are a few notes about his background:
F. A. Coaching Badge (England), USSF "A" Coaching License, NSCAA "Advanced National" Coaching License.
Bob has won over 280 games as a Head Varsity Coach at the High School and collegiate levels, with one national, one state, and three regional championships. He has coached 10 All-American players, three Olympic, and two US World Cup players (Vermes and Reyna).

John Amaral
Head Men's Soccer Coach at Elms College John Amaral has coached high school and collegiate soccer for more than 20
years. He led the Elms College women's soccer team to the 1999 North Atlantic
Conference (NAC) Championship. Two years later, he led the men's program to
its first-ever conference title. In addition, several players under Amaral's
tutelage have earned All-Conference and All-American honors, and one has gone
on to a professional soccer career.
As a professional, John has a twelve year history, playing for the
Castelobranco-Benefica Soccer Club of Portugal, the New Britain Falcons,
Hartford United, Gremio Lusitano of the Connecticut Soccer League, and Lowell
United in the L.A.S.A. League of Massachusetts. John played four years of
collegiate soccer at Westfield State College and led the Owls to four
consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. He has served as a soccer analyst for
ESPN, a consultant to Spaulding soccer, coach of the Springfield Sirens
women's professional soccer club in 2001, and was a United States Soccer
Federation licensed official.
